Prenatal massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It can enhance the function of muscles and joints, improve cardiovascular functions, and help to relieve mental as well as physical fatigue. Special pillows will be used to make sure the client is as comfortable as possible and adjustments can always be made throughout the massage.

Thai Massage is a part of an ancient healing system that combines broad and targeted acupressure, stimulation and manipulation of energy lines called sen, and assisted yoga postures. Treatment effects are enhanced when the patient is fully relaxed and breathing deeply. Loose clothing is suggested to be worn for passive stretching poses. This modality of massage can decrease stress, improve range of motion, and increase energy levels. This is a perfect type of massage to get a full-body assisted stretch while still getting to fully relax. Thai Massage is completed on a cotton mat on the floor rather than a massage table.

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of complimentary medicine in which a therapist suctions specific silicon cups on the skin for a few minutes to create suction and to bring blood flow into targeted areas. This therapy has many purposes, including relief of tension and inflammation, increased blood flow, breaking up fascial and muscular adhesions, and as a type of deep-tissue technique. I use a gliding technique rather than leaving the cups stagnant for a long period of time, which can limit large amounts of bruising, however some bruising is still possible but very normal.

Smooth hot stones will be integrated throughout your entire massage and are glided across the skin for the purpose of pain and tension relief, and relaxation. They can warm up specific muscles and make it easier to break up knots and ease tense muscle tissue.
